Pudukottai TN.…5^th March’16…..Tamil Nadu sports minister visits sports women’s hostel under the guise of motivating sports personnel late in the night. Insults and humiliates them in vernacular. Opposition demands dismissal of the minister. Ruling party claims that the visit was to motivate women athletes to bring laurals to Tamil Nadu.

Satara District Maharashtra 4^th March’16…… Khap Panchayat to “ Discipline” a pregnant teenager, who got pregnant due to the fact that she was raped by her own father subjects her to whipping in public fifteen times. Punishment for her father was ten lashes. The whole episode was video graphed and public, including women, was watching this barbaric act.

Eluru (AP) 6th March’16 Seventeen year old teenager was burnt to death by two stalkers as she failed to respond to their advances.

Rajasthan 6^th March’16 Twenty six year old Rajput women was burnt to death by mob in a village. The mob was led by her brother as he was upset that the lady had eloped with a person belonging to lower caste seven years back. Under the guise of welcoming her back into the family the women was made to visit her paternal house along with her three year old daughter and burnt to death by the mob.  All evidences were systematically destroyed and no one was coming forward to give evidence in this case.

Hyderabad 6^th March’16 AP Absconding Minister’s son surrenders before magistrate in the case involving alleged attempt to kidnap a girl belonging to minority community in broad day light in busy road number thirteen Banjara Hills area.  Though CCTV Footage had captured the entire episode, initially to cover up case was registered against the driver. On mounting public pressure minister’s son’s name was included in the FIR. Still Minister claims that the entire episode is politically motivated to malign his IMAGE & REPUTATION.   

In this dark clouded scenario…a silver lining …….The longest entire women crew (including pilots) operated flight took off at 2.35 AM today….. seventeen hours direct flight from Delhi to San Fransisco.
